The University's English Language Centre (ELC) is delighted to offer free English language classes aimed at newly arrived members of the local community who are not able to access language support offered by other providers. 
Classes are held on the main University campus on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 13:00–14:30. There is an additional class on Wednesdays from 15:00–16:30.
Languages Café
This is an informal opportunity to meet and talk to students, staff and members of the local community. It takes place every Wednesday during the semester at 13:00–14:00 in the atrium area of the Robbins Conference Centre, Gibbon Street, Plymouth, PL4 8BZ. The last Languages Café of this semester takes place on Wednesday 5 June, and it will return after the summer break on Wednesday 18 September 2024. Everyone is welcome.
